Lutron® Showcasing Third-Party Integration Capabilities
at CEDIA Expo

Coopersburg, PA (September 9, 2009) – Lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics Co., Inc., is placing strong emphasis on communicating its seamless, third-party integration capabilities at this year’s CEDIA Expo.

Lutron is showing installers, via its CEDIA booth, just how simple it is to integrate Lutron lighting and shading systems on all of their projects, giving their clients total control of their visual environment and saving energy.

Today, Lutron systems can be easily integrated with control systems via contact closures, infrared receivers, RS-232 and ethernet connections. To further enhance this message, installers can see Lutron’s HomeWorks® whole-home lighting control system working with the following manufacturers’ products:

  • AMX
  • Control4
  • HomeLogic
  • LifeWare
  • Philips
  • RTI
  • Savant
  • Universal Remote Control

Lutron is also demonstrating control of multiple Z-Wave and Zigbee devices from its HomeWorks and RadioRA® 2 systems. Lutron booth visitors can explore working demos and see Lutron systems interfacing with products like smart receptacles and thermostats.

“Our open architecture system designs give installers the option of integrating best-in-class Lutron products with the most popular home control products, including touchscreens, remote controls, thermostats and more,” said Rich Black, engineering manager at Lutron.
