Coopersburg, PA (September 9, 2009) – Light control manufacturer Lutron Electronics Co., Inc., is introducing 25 new roller shade fabrics to The Gallery Collection – expanding the designer fabric offering for Lutron automated roller shades.
With the addition of these new fabrics, The Gallery Collection now offers an even wider variety of designs, colors and textures to personalize any living space. The new fabrics are comprised of:
- Metallic sheers: This new category allows you to echo finishes in a room with silver, gold, or copper weaves
- Sculpted: Fiber etching removes fibers from the fabric to create unique patterns ranging from whimsical to geometric
- Texture: Adds depth to a space with simple or complex weaves
- Translucent: Reduces the view to shapes and shadows in a saturated palette of linen materials
In an effort to offer both stylish and sustainable options, many of the new fabrics are PVC-free and some are made from recycled materials or are Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certified. For commercial applications, all new additions to the collection are fire rated.
“By extending The Gallery Collection, we hope to offer even more shading solutions that are beautiful and environmentally friendly,” says Drew Placido, Director of Sales for Window Systems at Lutron Electronics. “Consumers have an increasing interest in green living and Lutron wants to help them achieve that goal without sacrificing aesthetics.”
