Lutron has created two product classifications - compatible and recommended – to help you find the LED solution that best meets your needs.

Compatible refers to lamps that are listed on our Compatible CFL/LED lamp lists. You can dim compatible lamps with our C•L dimmers, although they may not meet the performance you’re used to from an incandescent or halogen lamp. They have been electrically tested, they won’t affect the lifetime of our dimmers, and the dimmer may be used up to its full rated CFL/LED load. Recommended refers to products (lamps and fixtures) that meet specific performance requirements, have been electrically tested , and have been jointly reviewed by the manufacturer and Lutron; however, they may not meet the performance you’re used to from an incandescent or halogen lamp. You can find the detailed performance results (report cards) by utilizing the tool below.
